Welcome to the new SalsaBeatSeattle.com website dedicated to the musical groups, dancers, and promoters who contribute to the success of the Seattle and Northwest Salsa scene. Many years ago I became part of the Salsa scene traveling many places to dance, hear groups, teach, and promote the music and dance in any way that I could. We have spoke and taught dance at public schools of all different levels including colleges about Salsa music and dance. Marisa and I have done many community service Salsa evenings for fund raisers and corporate events. I remember times we would walk by a store and hear Salsa music and go in the shop and do a demo for the shoppers. It has not just been a hobby, but a passion and joy that we have wanted to share with all that would listen.
My hope is that this website may contribute to the growth of our community to become even more diverse with greater appreciation of the music and dance known as SALSA.
